HUDC Singapore

In 2007, Martin and I embarked on what would become a deeply fulfilling and rewarding journey into the HUDC (Housing and Urban Development Company) resale market. Our very first transaction was a unit in Shunfu Ville, a project that would later be one of Singapore’s most talked-about en bloc success stories. That sale marked the beginning of our specialisation in a niche but significant segment of Singapore’s residential landscape.

We can still recall the excitement of that first deal and the negotiation process, the satisfaction of matching the right buyer with the right home, and even the unexpected attention from media reporters who would approach us for the latest transaction updates in Shunfu Ville. At the time, HUDC estates were already beginning to attract interest from buyers and investors who recognised the value and potential of these expansive and well-located properties.

Since that first sale, we have had the privilege of transacting over 70 HUDC units across various estates, including well-known names such as Braddell View, Lakeview Estate, Eunosville, and Pine Grove. Each transaction tells its own story – of homeowners upgrading, retirees cashing out their nest egg, and young families eager to enter a mature estate with strong fundamentals.

As former public housing designed for the middle-income group, many HUDC estates were eventually privatised and have since become prime candidates for redevelopment. Their typically larger unit sizes, generous land plots, and proximity to key amenities have made them enduringly popular among buyers seeking long-term value and lifestyle appeal.

Looking back, we are filled with gratitude, for the trust placed in us by clients over the years, and for the opportunity to walk alongside them during significant life decisions. Many of our clients have become friends, and their referrals continue to fuel our business today.

This article is not just a reflection of our journey, but a tribute to the clients who have journeyed with us. Thank you for your unwavering support over the years. We remain committed to serving the HUDC community with the same dedication and sincerity that started it all at Shunfu Ville.
